Under the guidance of experienced pros, you’ll dive into the world-class powder around Myoko Kogen while leveling up your skills and knowledge of backcountry riding. Intro To Powder Progression Tour
**For intermediate riders who are looking to improve their powder riding and learn about touring/ how to use touring gear. Along with Backcountry exploration, and avalanche/snow safety lessons.

Intermediate Backcountry & Powder Progression Tour
**For Intermediate to Advanced riders who already have experience touring and riding in the backcountry. Who are looking to deepen their knowledge and skills on/off piste, along with gaining avalanche awareness and explore the best powder southern Japan has to offer.

What's Included?
- 7 nights accommodation at our private lodge in Suginohara.
- Onsen passes(natural volcanic hot springs) to local and surrounding onsen’s.
- All ride day lift passes and complimentary shuttle service, in our private shuttle van’s for the whole tour (riders will be taken where our guides think the snow will be best for the day’s given the conditions) You will have full flexibility to chase the snow and not only see Myoko, but many other resorts in the surrounding area .
- Welcome dinner with the crew.
- Private sushi making /dining experience.
- Nourishing Breakfast daily.
- Daily guiding by our amazing qualified guides and coaches to get you to the powder, with a guest to guide/coach ratio 3 to 1. The Ladies are there help you progress your riding to the next level, have fun and build confidence in the powder during your stay with daily coaching from our instructor’s and stoke from our coaches.
- Backcountry safety, introduction and training sessions with the team, daily analysis of conditions before and after riding for our guests to encourage safe and well informed decisions out on the slopes including on mountain search and rescue drills.
- Down time and cultural experiences to see the real japan .
- Snow shoe / skin mission to a beautiful secret location led by our lead husky, Timber .
- Backcountry/ side-counrty exploration, with our qualified guides (as per skill levels of riders and depending on snow condition and safety)
- Complimentary private shuttles to and from town for dinner’s each night, we will make a reservation for the group at our favourite spots around Myoko, but you are also free to explore the town before we head back to the lodge. ( you are also free cook in our in house lodge kitchen for a cozy night in.)
- In-house media and photographer to share and capture the entire experience.
- Mixtuer of Morning and afternoon yoga flow each day with in-house Yoga Instructor if you wish to join.

What You Will Need?
SAFETY is our number one priority. As a part of our tour, we have on board professional qualified guide’s to ensure the safety, as well as this, we require our guest’s to be geared up in order to keep them safe in the mountain’s.
Backcountry gear required:
- Touring back pack (to hold your safety gear)
- Transceiver
- Touring poles
- Shovel
- Spare gloves
- Probe
- Any extra gear you usually use in the backcountry is welcomed
- Snow shoes or ski/ split board and skins
If you do not have any of these item’s, fear not! Please let us know in advance and we can arrange rental or point you in the direction of the best place to buy.
All guests are required to provide travel insurance (snow sports cover included) policies once bookings are confirmed to make sure you are covered for your time on tour.
Where You'll Stay
Accommodation for the tour will be at our private lodge In Suginosawa, Myoko.
Within walking distance to the romance chair at Suginohara, The Greenhouse will be your home for your 7 nights with us in Myoko, The Greenhouse is a homely, newly renovated Japanese Ryokan with western comforts in the heart of Suginohara, all rooms are twin share (Private room options available while space allows as a optional add on )with plenty of room for you and our other guests to Relax after your days chasing powder in the Japanese alps.
